I really didn’t know what to expect going to the Dominican for this wedding… I had shot a wedding in Punta Cana earlier in the year but I knew everyone involved, and I was in the wedding party (when not shooting). The night before the flight I met up at best man Kyle Talor’s house as our flight was the 1st one out of YYZ. Shot them working on the speech and downed a few cold ones before a nice long 2 hour nap before the flight.

Soon after arriving at the airport I could tell this was going to be a non-stop party, both family and friends were hitting the Duty-Free at 6am. The whole week was amazing, great snorkeling, night time beach jam sessions and a never ending party at the pool bar. Same is to be said about the wedding day. Mike and Karen were great to work with, they were down to try anything and didn’t mind getting a little dirty for the shot.

Kill Room Recreation

Last week I teamed up with Dana Simpson and Ian Shannon from The Little Chop Shop to recreate a “kill room’ from the show Dexter. I ended up getting more involved then expected when I became the victim for the shoot. It was a little difficult describing the angles and camera settings while saran wrapped to the table, but it worked out in the end. I always enjoy shooting new things, especially when creating something from scratch. It was a fun night and I’m looking forward to more of these in the near future.

Horseshoe Resort Media Day

Horseshoe Resort opened their new Adventure Park to the media a few days before the official opening on July 1st. This media day was for radio, TV and Print to come out and do some pre-promotions and gather content for upcoming reports.

MMVA Afterparty with Bench Clothing

Spent the night of the MMVA Awards after party celebrating with the celebrities. Bench Clothing had a PK booth at the Horseshoe Tavern, one of the few bars hosting the MMVA after party.

Some of them were all about trying on clothes for photos, some were too cool to talk, but you know celebs…
